MILK // Duo Exhibition with Ana Pušica

Since December 13, 2022, the joint exhibition 'Milk' together with the artist Ana Pušica is on display at the gallery ARC Collect in Munich's Briennerstr. 6 until February 15, 2023. Appointments by appointment via ARC Collect.

Ana Pušica

In the work of Ana Pušica, the very act of painting is fundamental, it is the moment when physical impulses and visual imagination come together on the canvas. What matters most is the creative act itself. Being non-abstract, but not strictly figurative either with no identifiable portraits, her pictures evoke associations: red-hot magma, cheeky pinks, oranges, or cloudy color spectrums. As a result, her work exudes an ‘intense lightness’ and is making multiple layers of potential meaning. For the Duo-Exhibition ‚Milk‘ a brand new painting will be on display.

Julian Kerkhoff

Born in Munich  in 1987, Julian Kerkhoff works as a visual artist in Munich and Berlin. Informed by his architectural past, themes such as transformation, proportion, body and space form continuous elements of his artistic practice. For the Duo-Exhibition 'Milk' he is showing various resin artworks from his new series 'Constructed Space', which explores liminal spaces, for example between painting and sculpture.

Both exhibiting artists are working in an atelier space at Munich‘s DomagkAteliers.
